MP02 Radio Frequency Exposure Information

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is a measure of the rate at which the body absorbs radio frequency (RF) energy in units of Watts/kilogram.

The MP02 mobile phone has been tested at its highest certified transmission level and meets the SAR limits as specified by applicable, independent, international regulations for exposure to radio frequencies.

The SAR limit varies by country as per the following exposure guidelines:

  1. 2.0 Watts per kilogram averaged over 10 grams of tissue, measured against the head at no separation and at 5 mm from the body
  2. 1.6 Watts per kilogram averaged over 1 gram of tissue, measured against the head at no separation and at 10 mm from the body

These limit takes into consideration safety margins to assure the safety of all persons regardless of age and health.

To minimize exposure to radio frequency energy, limit the length of calls or hold the phone away from your head or body and use the built-in speakerphone or external headphones or other similar hands-free accessories.

Belt clips, holster-type accessories with metal parts may affect its compliance with radio frequency exposure guidelines and should be avoided.

Take note that although all the bands of operation for this device have been tested to determine the SAR values, not all bands are available in all areas.

Even though the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR of the phone during operation may function below the maximum value.

The maximum measured SAR values for this device using the independent scientific organization ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) requirements are:

Simulated position for compliance testing

Maximum SAR value

Frequency Band at which SAR value was measured

Held against the head

0.813 W/kg over 10 grams

LTE B7

At a separation distance of 5 mm from the body

1.454 W/kg over 10 grams

GSM 1800

The maximum measured SAR values for this device using Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (ICAN) requirements are:

Simulated position for compliance testing

Maximum SAR value

Frequency Band at which SAR value was measured

Held against the head

1.167 W/kg over 1 gram

LTE B7

At a separation distance of 10 mm from the body

1.132 W/kg over 1 gram

WCDMA B2
